National or Club Team?

Ever wonder what the difference is between National and Club Teams? Well, you're in luck. A great example is this: Lionel Messi is the worlds best and famous soccer player. He plays for his Country, Argentina. But he also plays for Barcelona. The National team would be Argentina, and the Club team would be Barcelona. Also, if Messi Would like to leave Barcelona and go play for Liverpool, he can do that. But he can't leave Argentina, because if you wan't to to play for a National team, you can only Play for the Country you were born in. Last thing is, let's say that Messi's dad is from Argentina, and his mom is from France. Now, Messi has a choice. He can play for Argentina or France.

National team = When you play for a the Country you were born in.

Club team = When you don't play for the Country you were born in, and play for any city, or, play for a non-city team. (Example: Madrid Athletes).

Diego Costa

Meet Diego Costa. He is my favorite Spanish soccer striker. He plays for Spain and Chelsea. Whenever Diego Costa gets the ball, he goes right to the goal. Diego Costa scores lots and lots of goals. Only 35% of the time, the other team will steal the ball from him, or, Diego Costa will shoot the ball and miss the goal. He is amazing. Diego Costa attacks. His number is 19. He is just FABULOSO! (Fabulous, in my special language, spanish).
